Foreign Minister of Armenia received Regional Director of International Organisation for Migration

On May 29, Edward Nalbandian, Foreign Minister of Armenia, received Ambassador Argentina Szabados, Director for South-Eastern Europe, Eastern Europe and Central Asia of the International Organisation for Migration (IOM).

Welcoming the guest, Minister Nalbandian attached an importance to the programmes implemented by the International Organisation for Migration in Armenia and reaffirmed that the Government of Armenia will continue its close cooperation with the Organisation.

Ambassador Szabados presented the works carried out by the OIM and highly appreciated more than two decades long efficient cooperation established with the authorities of Armenia.

During the talks views were exchanged on the management of international migration flows. Issues of refugees who arrived to Armenia from Syria were touched upon.
