The Minister of Diaspora, Mkhitar Hayrapetyan writes on his Facebook page:
“Day 3: we started the morning with a working discussion over the government plan making with the heads of departments. I met with the Advisor to the President of the Republic of Armenia, Tevan Poghosyan: we spoke about a lot of issues.
I had a phone conversation with Hranush Hakobyan: the former Minister of Diaspora expressed her willingness to help in case of necessity (during day 2 summary, Mkhitar Hayrapetyan had mentioned: “Hranush Hakobyan presented me a book with her signature and wished me a good luck”, ed.)
During the whole day, I received a few benefactors arrived from abroad. The main topics of discussion were the investments and repatriation.
I also received Archbishop Nathan.
The Deputy Minister of Diaspora, Vahagn Melikyan was dismissed under his application (earlier the Minister had reported that the Deputy Minister Serzhik Srapionyan had been dismissed according to his application. Also, that his first appointment was Turkologist, the Director of “Euphrates” center for Near Eastern studies, the founder of the portal of Turkology, Gevorg Petrosyan as his advisor (under public grounds).-ed.)
I met with the newly established group of monitoring members. They reported me about the positive and negative reflections on the activities undertaken by the Ministry of Diaspora lately by local and international media, as well as on social networks.
Well, and after the working day I participated in the initiative group of “Civil Contract” party session at 19:00.”
