“There is some tension in the frontline, but it is controllable”, Deputy Minister of Defense Gabriel Balayan said speaking about the frontline.
He said that “there is some advancement on their part, but not at the expense of our positions or our territories. Our armed forces are definitely ready to confront”.
Balayan said that after the April war, the Defense Ministry has changed its policy: “Changes in the contact line clearly fit in the context of our defense policy and I want to assure you that if the opponent makes an attempt to change the situation they are responded immediately, let no one think as if our armed forces are watching how these actions are being carried out. We give an appropriate response”.
