On 21 September, an EU-supported international conference in Ukraine will discuss cooperation and technological solutions for the greenhouse industry. The event, organised within the EU4Business initiative, will bring together speakers from Ukraine, Poland, Israel, South Korea and Turkey.
The market for greenhouse crops is developing rapidly in Ukraine. Improvements in cultivation technologies make it possible to increase yields and reduce production costs. Yet while highly profitable, the development of the market has been stalled by a number of obstacles that will be discussed at the event.
The conference will also host a workshop on ‘Successful management systems in a greenhouse enterprise’, as well as business-to-business opportunities and an exhibition of greenhouse equipment.
The event is being organised by the Khmelnytskyi Business Support Centre, which is part of the EU-funded Network of Business Support Centres. The network aims to improve the competitiveness and bankability of Ukrainian small and medium-sized enterprises.
