Armenian truck transporting molybdenum attacked in Turkey: ermenihaber.am

A band of robbers attacked an Armenian truck transporting 20 tons of molybdenum in the Kocaeli province of Turkey.

The truck was travelling from Armenia to the Netherlands.

Five of the robbers were wearing police uniforms in the Dilovasi district. They stopped the truck and, presenting themselves as police officers, demanded that the driver get out of the truck. Then, they tied up the driver and the rest of the robbers stole the contents of the truck.

Then, passersby found the driver, who was tied up and called the police. The police were able to find five of the seven members of the group.

According to preliminary information, there were Turkish and Georgian citizens in the group. The police were able to find the stolen goods.
