The Armenian national team participated in the first international competition in Nice, France for Greco-Roman wrestling. Our wrestlers competed in seven different weight competitions, out of which six resulted in our wrestlers being rewarded on the podium.

World champion, newly-elected Armenian deputy, silver medalist in the Olympic games, 77 kg Arsen Julfalakyan won a gold medal. 55 kg Rudik Mkrtchyan, 67 kg Karen Aslanyan, and 72 kg Hrant Kalachyan also won gold medals. 60 kg Gevorg Gharibyan and 97 kg Artur Shahinyan won bronze medals.
