Member of the Russian women’s team and ethnic Armenian tennis player Margarita Gasparyan won in the beginning rounds of the US Open in New York.
In the first round, Gasparyan’s scores were 7:6 and 6:4. She defeated Australian Priscilla Hon. She will be competing against British tennis player Johanna Konta in the second round.
