The relatives of captured soldiers were protesting in front of the government building again on January 11. They are dissatisfied with the government’s work to return their relatives. It is true that the boys come in small groups, but the rate of return is not enough for the relatives. Today, as before, they have come with the hope that the government will give them a clear answer: to hope, to wait, or not to wait for their relatives.
“We want to meet with everyone who can help us in this matter. All we want is for our boys to be brought home. We approached the reception, informed them, and now we are waiting. Today, tomorrow, this month, next month… How long do they have to lie to us? They promised that the boys would be patient for two more months, and it would be fine. A year and three months have passed. We last met with the Prime Minister six months ago, in the summer. We still consider it important to meet him. Shall we go to Aliyev, do they want that?
We will do that too, there is no question. We see that we are not given a real answer. We see that our leadership is asleep. How long should it last? Parents died because they did not see their children. We lost two such parents. This is not something to do. Look at the mothers. At least someone should be kind enough to come and take these mothers inside and sit in a warm place. Is this our leadership?

The assistant to the Prime Minister, Nairi, said that three people could come in. We do not agree. Have we come 120 kilometers to meet three people with Nairi?” the relatives complained.
Another said that they were called and told that the Prime Minister did not want to see them. “If the prime minister has nothing to say to us, what should Nairi say?” The relatives of the captured soldiers assured that if they are not received today, they will stay and hold a sit-in strike in front of the government building at night.
