According to the information of Aravot.am, on May 6, police officers studied a video posted on Facebook by a user named Armine Baloyan. They found out that a young man called Davit reports that Artsvik Minasyan, whose brother is a mayor, and Mr. Bagratyan offered him AMD 12 000 (6000 per person) to participate in opposition marches and rallies.
In an interview with Aravot.am MP Artsvik Minasyan described the incident as a disgrace and informed us that he is at the police station. “An attack has been launched on the entire party and its members. Such nonsense, such statements, such things are the handwriting of this government. The government, seeing that it couldn’t resist this liberation struggle, started doing such nonsense – large scale searches and arrests.”
To our question, whether he knows the young man called Davit, Artsvik Minasyan answered, “I haven’t seen the video. I was just told that there are such stupid things.”
