The meeting of the Minister Foreign Affairs of Armenia with the Foreign Minister of Georgia
On January 12, within the framework of the session of the intergovernmental commission on Armenian-Georgian economic cooperation, Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and Foreign Minister Georgia Ilia Darchiashvili had a meeting.
Ararat Mirzoyan and Ilia Darchiashvili commended the high level of Armenian-Georgian relations based on the centuries-long friendship and common values of the two peoples, and exchanged views on further expansion and deepening of cooperation.
The parties touched upon the work carried out towards strengthening trade and economic cooperation between Armenia and Georgia, highlighting the activities of the Armenian-Georgian intergovernmental commission.

Ararat Mirzoyan briefed his Georgian counterpart on the humanitarian situation deteriorating daily since December 12, 2022 due to Azerbaijan’s blockade of the Lachin Corridor.
