The EU demands that the presidential election to take place in Armenia on February 13 be in line with international standards. Traian Hristea, the head of the EU delegation to Armenia, said this during a meeting with journalists today. “Therefore, Armenia must pay attention to the drawbacks registered by the OSCE ODIHR during the parliamentary election in May 2011. Let us remind once again that the development of our bilateral relations with Armenia will depend on that. We expect the full devotion of the Armenian government, which will ensure holding a democratic and transparent election,” Mr. Hristea added.
