The Activist Struggling Against Oligarchs Will Not Struggle Against Tsarukyan’s Nomination

November 23,2012 16:45

“Regardless of who will be nominated for the presidential election, we as citizens of the Republic of Armenia and activists who struggle against the oligarchic system boycott it. We don’t care what kind of an election it will be, who will be nominated or where it will lead,” environmentalist Yeghia Nersisyan said to www.aravot.am, answering our question whether they would struggle against PAP leader Gagik Tsarukyan’s nomination for the presidential election.

“Regardless of who will announce his/her candidacy, we don’t believe. As Levon Ter-Petrossian turned into an oppositionist at the time after many years of sleep, played, now the government may create some opposition force, reproduce itself and play its game. We boycott any kind of election.”
