I read somewhere that the ARF and the Republican Party are merged by the Kremlin’s orders. I do not have distinct information but it seems to me that the Kremlin does not care about what these two, as well as other parties, are doing in Armenia. Certainly, purely theoretically it is possible to assume that currently Russia may like the ARF party’s anti-Turkish rhetoric, and this country would not be against seeing such a party in the circles of Armenia’s leadership. But it is of the 1000th significance for Russia. Agreeing on any domestic political process of Armenia with the intentions of the Kremlin, the White House or, let’s say, the Brussels, it may be is considered a “profound political-scientific analysis” but in reality, eventually, it is a manifestation of xenomania.
Likewise, the assumptions of the opposite “pole”. The US Government has allocated about 750 thousand dollars to our government to combat corruption. It can, certainly, be viewed as a peculiar humor: the wolves are not only assigned to guard the sheep but also pay “salary” for it. But this, let’s agree, weird move is given a weirder explanation that allegedly the United States is actually interested in the corruption deepening in Armenia and this is why it gives money to our corrupt government. But the corruption is “successfully” developing in Armenia without the foreign grants and to doubted that any new donation will contribute to it, it is not logical.
I tend to assume regarding this weird grant something different that people in the West naively believe that our officials are stealing because of the lack of knowledge. Suffice it, let’s say, to collect the senior staff of any “force” is a cozy place and spend a few weeks training them and these people will stop taking bribes, “standing as a roof” to the businesses and so on. In fact, these officials do not lack in seminars but the cozy cells in Nubarashen penitentiary facility. But these phenomena have nothing to do with the conspiracy of the world “force centers”. Nobody forces our state system to be corrupt, likewise, no one forces to merge the political parties of Armenia and form an alliance.
Generally, it seems to me that the Americans, Russians, Europeans, Jews, and Masons (if there are any) neither particularly want our good nor our bad, they are living their own lives and pursue their own interests. It bad things that we are doing to ourselves are at least 10 times bigger than any external conspiracy. Even “global”.
