Within the first International Exhibition of Arms and Defense Technology ArmHiTec-2016, Defense Minister of Armenia, Vigen Sargsyan, in an interview with the reporters, commented on the recent statement by his Azerbaijani counterpart that “the answer to the next provocation by the Armenian side will be even more disruptive and will completely destroy Armenia, and the acquisition of “Iskander” operative tactical missile systems does not change the balance in favor of Armenia.”
“What can be expected of a state, which always states that it will try to solve the problem by military means? Certainly, they are highly concerned about the “Iskanders” and all those things that they saw during the military parade on September 21,” – said Vigen Sargsyan. The RA Defense Minister added, “We must always be ready to possible developments and do everything for our armed forces to be able to push such attempts back and defend the security of the people of Nagorno-Karabakh.”
