Aravot.am asked French Ambassador to Armenia Jean-Francois Charpentier whether it is possible to open the “brackets” from the recent meeting with the ANC Vice-President, Head of the Congress-PPA election campaign headquarters, Levon Zurabyan, where in line with other questions there was a reference to the Karabakh conflict.
“Yes, I have met and not only with Levon Zurabyan but also with the representatives of other parties. As a representative of France, I cannot but be interested in anything which is going on in your country, and it is normal. We just exchanged opinions. As for the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the posture of France is known, France is in favor of the peaceful and negotiated option which is free of violence,” said Mr. Ambassador.
