During the discussion on “Revolution with culture or without” Minister of Culture Lilit Makunts touched upon the statement made on her Facebook page about providing the velvet revolution with an exhibition hall in the Armenian History Museum within 5 days, and made some clarification:
“This temporary exhibition will last for 1-2 months. At this stage, the interest of the Diaspora towards Armenia is great due to the processes of the velvet revolution. Foreigners visit Armenia in particular for these facts. Thus, this exhibition will become a link between them and the events”, said Makunts, whose post has caused a heated debate and has been accepted not unanimously.
Samvel Saghatelyan, who was present at the discussion, suggested making it a documentary art project with conceptual justification and re-evaluation.
