From September 17th to the 22nd, large-scale operative-tactical trainings will take place in Azerbaijan using different caliber weapons. Different troops, special forces, and subdivisions will be participating. “Trend” wrote about this, attaching a message from the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense spokesperson.
The military trainings will take place under the supervision of Azerbaijani Minister of Defense Zakir Hasanov. Over 20,000 soldiers will be participating, and more than 200 tanks, armored vehicles, more than 120 different caliber missiles, multiple rocket launchers, machine guns, and more than 30 types of aircraft will be used.
It is worth mentioning that, for the first time, it states in the Ministry of Defense’s letter that the potential enemy during the military trainings will be Armenia. It also states that the troops will face the issue of “liberating the occupied territories.”
The letter also states that the newest military technology and armaments will be used during the military trainings.
