After consultations, the Constitutional Court decided to reject Constitutional Court judge Hrayr Tovmasyan’s second mediation to invite President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian to the court as a witness.
The president of the Constitutional Court, Arman Dilanyan, announced this on Saturday during investigations surrounding cases filed by the Armenia alliance, I Have Honor alliance, and the Zartonk and Armenian Homeland political parties to invalidate the results of the June 20th snap parliamentary elections.
Hrayr Tovmasyan’s first mediation was rejected due to a typo. He fixed it and presented another mediation to include the president of Armenia as a witness, in this case, to understand whether or not any pressure or coercion was used for him to hold the elections on June 20th.
