The participants of the spontaneous rally that started on Saturday in Stepanakert’s Renaissance Square demanded that the President of the Republic of Artsakh, Arayik Harutyunyan, come out and personally answer their questions. According to Yerkir.am, however, Araik Harutyunyan was not at the presidential residence during the demonstration.
Instead, Artur Tovmasyan, the Speaker of the Artsakh National Assembly, met with the citizens. He tried to present the situation and answer the questions of the participants of the demonstration. Tovmasyan assured that the authorities of Artsakh are doing their best to implement the right of the people of Artsakh to self-determination.
