RA Minister of Labor and Social Issues, Artem Asatryan, considers dissatisfaction of the citizens from introducing mandatory funded pension and distrust over the government normal. “Trust is very important, but at the same time it is problematic for all governments in the world, because reforms are painful, if they are not painful, they are not reforms. And, if they are painful, problems arise. However, the strength of the government is to make these reforms reach the end. It is a natural process, and government operations do not always deserve the trust of the people,” said the Minister. With regard to applying to the Constitutional Court by PAP, ANC, ARF and “Heritage” factions for recognizing the component mandatory in the Funded Pension system unconstitutional, the Minister said, there is no anti-constitutional clause in the law, “Let them go ahead.”
