February 03,2014 13:49

Businessman Paylak Hayrapetyan considers the fact of businessman Ashot Sukiasyan’s detention involved in the offshore scandal his success. “I’m so happy he will be finally interrogated and will reveal what had happened”, – said Mr. Hayrapetyan to Aravot.am. For him, the offshore scandal has already been revealed. “This case does not require a new revelation because the investigation revealed everything, and he was arrested. Whatever he admits or not, it does not matter, because there is a document, otherwise, it would be different.

These funds were transferred to offshore, to the third organization, and there is a document saying that 5,200,000 dollars was returned to Armenia, which was turned into cash and the amount was used to buy about 100 kilograms of gold, which is also asserted by a document.” As convinced by Mr. Hayrapetyan, “Until now, Armenia’s leadership knew that I had entered into business with Ashot Sukiasyan; they did not know that I was in business relations not with Ashot, but the Prime Minister of Armenia. I never knew Ashot, nor know him by face. Both, the Prime Minister, Vicar Diocese Navasard Kchoyan and the owners of “Ameria” Bank are involved in this business. I demand an interrogation and confrontation with them regarding this case, and I will shoot the works.” To remind that, yesterday, the RA Police confirmed the information that Ashot Sukiasyan was identified in Tbilisi with the help of the Interpol National Central Bureau in Armenia, as well as in cooperation with the Georgian law enforcers. Now, the matter of Ashot Sukiasyan’s extradition to Armenia is considered.
