Hermine Naghdalyan consider that Azerbaijan is not prepared morally and psychologically to wage a war. “We need to understand for ourselves that no matter how much we appreciate the peace, however, we are living in a war”, – announced Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, Hermine Naghdalyan, in the conversation with Aravot.am, referring to the tense situation on the border. She believes that unless the Armenian side is able to give a final solution to the issue through peace talks, we should never think that the war is over. Mrs. Naghdalyan announced that she does not see the possibility of renewed war, because according to her, Azerbaijan is not prepared morally and psychologically. “Azerbaijan may show itself from the back, from ambushes, but it cannot enter into war in its full size because it knows that this is an unjust war, that it wants to take away someone else’s land, that it wants to take away someone else’s homeland.

And in such unjust war and unfair situations, people are just able to show up from ambushes. I do not see a possibility of a major war, but I think that the guarantee of all of our successes, in the first place, is the fighting efficiency of the national army, also, the way to more caring and more attentive attitude towards our army by our society, and high preparedness of all our remaining state institutions, because we are living in an unfinished war conditions.” Hermine Naghdalyan expressed condolences to the families and relatives of young people deceased on the borders of Armenia. She expressed a wish for the Armenian army to defend the Armenian border unitedly, day and night. “And we with our people would understand that there happen various forms and stages of war. There is also a diplomatic war, an informational war; there is an absolute war, but this way we need to overcome until we reach the solution of the problem.”
