December 22,2015 20:00

In recent days, the Armenian journalists visiting Germany in an awkward situation when climbing the high-rise tower to see the Berlin’s historic wall. Seeing the vacant elevator, as if waiting for us, naturally we went up on the elevator. At the top, we came across to Germans’ perplexed looks and rebukes saying, don’t you see the sign of disability on it. It is only for the sick people and the disabled. The Germans will not use it even if they want to. They will never take the seat in the bus designed for disabled people, no matter how overcrowded the bus is. Generally, Berlin and Leipzig are jealously tailored for the people with disabilities. If you cannot find in a normal public toilet in Armenia, there are accommodated toilets in the streets of Leipzig for the people with limited disabilities. The accommodations and ramps in the streets are not formal as in our country. If there are no ramps in the underground passages, there is a special elevator.
