On Jan. 5, this year, a supporter of “New Armenia” public salvation camp, Suzy Gevorgyan, was beaten. Suzy was chased by two unidentified persons and have attached her not far from the supermarket near her house, thrown her on the ground by kicking her numerously on the head, face and different parts of the body causing bodily injuries. In an interview with Aravot.am, Suzy Gevorgyan told that on the very same day when the ambulance was taking her to the hospital she has reported the police about the incident. “I have told everything, the next day we went to the scene. I have gone to a forensic doctor. Now, he must register that I have had brain concussion. But the forensic doctor said that additional examinations are required to diagnose a concussion.”

The activist said that on the day of the incident, at the hospital, the doctor had registered a concussion and has said that I need to stay in the hospital for 3-4 days in the case of such injuries. “As to what is going on now that the forensic doctor does not register the fact of concussion and requires additional examination, I do not understand. It seems to me that therewith they are trying to extend the case and close it.” To our question of whether there were chasing and intimidations towards her after the incident, Suzy Gevorgyan replied that two persons were following her. “They were not people the same people. I have noticed them when I was going to different places. They have followed me even during the fulfilment of my job. Yesterday and today, I have not noticed, maybe they are still following me.”
