World famous Istanbul-Armenian photographer Ara Güler and the Turkish Dogus company have signed an agreement on opening the first photographic museum in Turkey that will showcase the works of Güler.
As reported Istanbul’s Armenian Zhamanak newspaper, the museum will be an international museum.
Güler, President of Dogus Company Ferit Shahenk and the company’s Chief Executive Officer Hyusnyu Akhan were participating in the signing ceremony.
Shahenk informed that the museum would showcase all the works of Güler and that the building of the museum would be the structure located in the Beyoglu district where the photographer was born, grew up and worked for a while.

The museum will also present the books, notes, personal items, awards, posters, collections and other items of Ara Güler.
