July 24,2016 01:17

Journalists had an opportunity to enter the “neutral zone” around the seized police compound in Yerevan. They met Member of group “Sasna Tsrer” Pavlik Manukyan who told journalists that they don’t need to hold hostages. And after releasing  their hostages their security guarantee is their weapon.
He added that if authorities take wrong steps, they will take punitive actions, but they don’t want it. To the question what would be their second step Pavlik Manukyan answered: “We would rather die than surrender. We don’t want bloodshed”.
Referring to the killed Police Colonel Arthur Vanoyan Pavlik Manukyan said that they have done everything to prevent what happened: “We have said “don’t shoot, stop, please” for 10 times, but he fought until the last bullet. We were exchanging fire in the dark: of course it could happen”.
Pavlik Manukyan said that they are sorry for the loss, but in his words they didn’t have an alternative. Varuzhan Avetisyan, member of “Sasna Tsrer, speaker of “Founding parliament” added that they are realizing their right to rebellion, and as a result they also could have victims. He emphasized that they preformed special ceremony and mourned the death of police officer.

Looks like the repeated appeals of Sasoon Daredevils for people to come out on street in large numbers has no effect and people are not coming out. The Davedevils calculations, thinking and logic has proven incorrect, they don’t have massive support among the population, they have some support but not massive enough to make a difference.

So they should give up themselves before any more destruction and bloodshed.
