Azerbaijani forces have violated the ceasefire regime in the southern (Hadrut), eastern (Martuni – Akna) and northeastern (Martakert) directions of the Line of Contact between Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan for 90 times on the night of December 13-14. As the press department of the NKR Defense Army reports, the Azerbaijani forces have fired around 1,900 shots toward the Armenian positions, including 56 shots from SVD and instigal type long-range sniper rifles. Apart from firearms, the adversary has applied 60mm mortars (3 shells) in Martakert direction.
The vanguard units of the NKR Defense Army have largely refrained from responding to provocative actions of the Azerbaijani side and retaliated in case of extreme necessity.
The release adds that Atsakh Armed Forces continue confidently carrying out their combat duties across the entire frontline.
