Parliamentary “Yelq” faction had only one problem – to exhale passions, to speak, to speak and to speak constantly. That’s why they needed a platform like air and water, which could serve the Temporary Committee. However, ten out of 11 members of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations voted against it.
Here is an interview with Artak ZEYNALYAN.
– Nikol Pashinyan says that with the membership of EAEU closed the deepening of our relations with Iran. But how can you explain that Iran attaches importance to the cooperation with EAEU member Armenia? By the way, this is also stressed by China.
– I do not agree with you, and I do not accept this information as a starting point. The treaties that we have signed within the framework of the EAEU restrict bilateral relations with third countries without agreeing with the EAEU.
That is, in order to be able to enter into bilateral relations, we have to coordinate with the EAEU. These are preconditions. And what kind of political statements are made by Iran, it is secondary.
-You complain that EAEU member countries should coordinate with EAEU in terms of the cooperation with the third countries but the same mechanism is used in the European Union, is not it? EU member states coordinate all their steps with Brussels.
– In general, joining this or that union is implemented by means of a free will, is not it? And Armenia did not voluntarily adhere to the EAEU. That’s all.
-You did not answer my question.
– What I said is the answer to your question according to my perception. Armenia joins the EAEU, not voluntary but forced. It was also said by our political opponents that if we try to get out, they will let us down with our enemy neighbors, they will put pressure on us, they will make us starve and so on. The European Union is already one state.
