Minutes ago the protesters demanding the resignation of Taron Margaryan standing in front of the building entered the building of the Municipality. They stepped up to the 3rd floor and demand a meeting with the Mayor.
The police and the employees have closed the entrance to the reception.
Exclaiming “Taron, leave!”, the citizens tried to enter Taron Margaryan’s office.
The head of media office of the Council, Artur Gevorgyan came out and met with the protestors. One of the protesters, a girl, shouted out loud: “Have you not understood yet, that you should give us the way?”
Artur Gevorgyan, as a response, mentioned that he is not the one to decide where the girl should stand. The protesters shout – where is the candidate that we have elected for? We do not want to speak to you, we want to speak with the candidate we have chosen.
Deputy Mayor Davit Ohanyan suggested to go upstairs, to the briefing hall and meet with the respective assistants of the Council. The protesters do not agree on it.
