Aravot.am asked the Minister of Diaspora, Mkhitar Hayrapetyan how true is the information that he is going to travel to Syria for the sake of his own PR.
Let us remind you that “Irates” newspaper wrote today: “They say, in days the unique Minister of Diaspora, Mkhitar Hayrapetyan “believed” it was necessary to “go to Syria, as it would be a good PR” in narrow circles.”
The Minister firstly responded asking why he had to comment on all media publications: “I do not think I should respond to all publications. My action is my response, and the media is not to estimate me, but the public, by the way, not only the ones residing in the Republic of Armenia but overall the Armenian nation worldwide.”
Afterwards, addressing the rumors constituting that he wanted to travel to Syria, Mkhitar Hayrapetyan mentioned: “I have not announced which country I am going to visit, that is – I still refrain from announcing that information. As regards media publications as if I do my own PR, then let me repeat that the public gives my activities estimation.”
According to the Minister, if the Armenian nation worldwide finds he makes mistakes, he will hear them and work towards correcting his mistakes.
