“A high-ranking official’s brother, whose name I will not mention, has 30 million dollars in just one bank account,” Nikol Pashinyan announced during the meeting celebrating his 100th day in office. “Someone said ‘but why is no one asking where the ten percent is?’ We are asking that, of course, and you will be the ones who will give the answer,” Nikol Pashinyan added.
He ensured that every penny stolen from the people will be returned to them. “It is difficult to conduct an investigation from a legal perspective in connection to the 30 million dollars because that person has not been an authority figure for many years and did not present a declaration. I think that we must seriously think about creating new transitional bodies of justice.”
