Twenty-one-year old Aramo Karen Torosyan, who died during the military offenses in Artsakh, had been a student at the No. 4 school in Artik. His father also works at the school. The principal, Nune Grigoryan, and Torosyan’s teachers told Aravot Daily that Aramo went to the army in January. He was a soldier for eight months. He studied at the college in Artik and was involved in sports.
“We don’t know that much yet about our hero’s deeds, but we did know that the commander told his cousin that Aramo did not surrender at any point. He moved forward with a victorious mentality. It was even obvious to us when he was in school that he had a strong will, and that he was an active and funny young man.”
He was his parents’ only child. He often called his parents, giving his father hope that they should not worry about him, that he’s doing well, and that they will win. “He said, ‘Dad, people your age are taking care of us. We are very safe and in good hands.’”
His teachers said that he was very outgoing, which is obvious also by looking at some of his Facebook pictures.
