“Of course, we won,” 2016 April War hero Robert Abajyan’s father, Davit Abajyan, told reporters at the Yerablur Military Pantheon. The reporter’s question was about disagreements regarding whether or not Armenia won during the April War.
In response to another question on how he feels about the fact that the lands that Robert and others fought for are now under enemy control, Davit Abajyan said, “Should we go and fight again and lose more soldiers? You’re wrong. Let us live comfortably in our country. Our people do not gain anything from war. I don’t know what people gain from going to war.”
In response to a question about the April War Committee’s report, which has still not yet been published, Davit Abajyan said, “It will be published when it needs to be. It is not necessary to force and demand. We must understand people.”
