The tents from France Square were finally removed. The good news is that life in the center of the capital is back to normal and people will not have to waste time in traffic jams. And everyone was dissatisfied with those traffic jams, regardless of political views.
The same incident caused the authorities and their fans to rejoice, ridicule the opposition and shout joyfully. As if they won and the opposition lost. Let it be so. This “victory” next to the defeat on November 9, 2020 is a perfect 0. And who are the perpetrators of this defeat and humiliation, I have no doubt, no matter what excuses and tales are invented and how many people believe in those excuses. This is not the case when the truth is decided by a majority of votes. Ninety percent of the population of Azerbaijan is probably convinced that the Armenian churches are Albanian, because of that those churches do not become Albanian.
In fairness, the government’s tactics during these two months were correct in that the tents in the French Square were not removed by police force. If that were the case, it would have given the opposition an extra playing card. And in this case, the organizers of the protests themselves admitted that this form of protest does not hinder the authorities in any way, and ordinary citizens are concerned. They should have confessed that sooner. If a change of government was not achieved in a few days, it would be pointless to continue. Adopting one’s own mistakes is not a shameful behavior.
Authorities opposed the protest with all available police forces, special services, and the army. That is an obvious lie. Of course, there are different people among the protesters, including those whose intentions are not clear. But the majority of the protesters, I think, are citizens who are really concerned about the fate of Armenia and Artsakh and the expected extremely unfavorable developments.

But why do the authorities manage to “eat” that lie, roughly speaking? Opposition leaders must analyze the issue and draw the appropriate conclusions. Unless, of course, they are politicians, not just political lyricists.
