September 10,2022 19:07

Andrey Makarevich is among the famous artists who visited Armenia within the framework of STARMUS. During a meeting with journalists, he called the STARMUS Festival of Science and Art exceptionally interesting. “No one has done anything like this yet. There have been many music festivals, maybe some good, some not so much, but all of them have been similar. There were also many scientific meetings. And as a rule, for a narrow circle of specialists. I was shocked here by the enormous number of people present during the lectures of scientists.”

He described Yerevan as the ancient capital of one of the oldest countries in the world. Makarevich also visited the Erebuni Historical Archaeological Reserve-Museum and said that it would be a sin not to visit there. Speaking about his move to Israel, he mentioned that he likes living there, where his son was also born.

Regarding his “status” as a foreign agent, Makarevich said that the authorities want to humiliate people with such steps, and he is not particularly shocked by this status. Makarevich wished success to all his compatriots who moved to Armenia, and also wished success to all normal people who remained in the homeland. “After all, any madness ends one day, it cannot be stretched indefinitely.”
