It is designed by the draft law also to replenish the persons not being in military service appointed in military post among the persons having the right of receiving compensation of the damages caused to the life or health during military operations.
The RA Deputy Minister of Defence Arman Sargsyan said this, presenting for debate in the first reading the draft law on Compensation of Damages Caused to the Life or Health of the Servicemen during the RA Defence at the regular sitting of the NA Standing Committee on Defense and Security on September 29.
According to the Deputy Minister, the rules of calculating and paying the difference of sums being paid in case of change of the compensation case conditioned by the change of the compensation case, as well as the inaccuracy of technical character in the law is removed.

The key rapporteur noted that in fact by now this problem arose on one person during the military operations unleashed on September 13-14, 2022, and regarding this necessity emerged to solve the problem in the sphere of law in force including the persons with systemized such situation.
The co-rapporteur, the member of the Committee Vahagn Aleksanyan, highlighting the adoption of the draft, called on his colleagues to vote for it.
As a result of debate, the Committee members endorsed the draft law.
