The Hayazn union organized a march near the Government Building today demanding to organize Syrian Armenians’ return to the Motherland and they passed their demands in writing to the government. They demanded from the government, in particular, “To draw up a general and comprehensive program of the return to the Motherland from all countries.
“To organize the return to the Motherland from dangerous areas summarily, not waiting for the crisis to deepen, which may cause deaths and insurmountable obstacles.
“To immediately create favorable conditions for those who want to immigrate from Syria and other countries, including one-way passenger transportation and transportation of the minimum baggage for free.
“Not to allow private transporters to benefit from the situation.

“To define the status of the one who has returned to the Motherland that will provide for more privileges than any other state provides refugees with, as well as acquisition of the Armenian citizenship summarily.
“To give temporary refuge to all those who have returned to the Motherland and privileges for buying apartments, particularly, in the freed territories of Artsakh.
“To create special conditions for the Diaspora Armenians’ children to continue their education at educational institutions, to provide university places and loans on favorable terms, as well as support in finding a job and retraining for that end.”
Armen Mkrtchyan, a member of the union, presented orally the written application in a concise manner.
