Anush Sedrakyan, the deputy chairman of the Free Democrats Party, assured that their party had taken a very strict position on the Artsakh conflict, which could never be resolved by returning territories.
Talking about the fact that Hayk Khanumyan, an assistant of Vitaly Balasanyan who had lost the Artsakh presidential election, had said, “What kind of an oppositionist Kokobelyan is? Kokobelyan and the Free Democrats Party are a serious threat. There was no MP among the Heritage Party group in the former parliament who was for making territorial concessions; the Heritage Party was the most pro-Artskh party. We have a serious problem today, because the number of such MPs in the Parliament has shrunk,” Ms. Sedrakyan said, “They haven’t seen the representatives of the headquarters, can one draw a conclusion from such a claim that the Free Democrats take a not pro-Artsakh position in the parliament… there is no need to make such groundless claims for a simple reason that the Artsakh issue and the Artsakh pain concerns every one of us.”
