For example, NA MP Samvel Aleksanyan is using a “Motorola” type phone, and there is an opinion that he is using this very special type of phone for not to wiretap. Samvel Martirosyan replied, “If they want to listen what you are talking on the phone, you can use whatever phone you want. The operator sits and listens. But if you download the “Signal” program and use it to call a person using this same program, it cannot be wiretapped. Samvel Aleksanyan cannot use this program because there is no Android on Motorola.”
Samvel Martirosyan explained that even if they listen to the call with this program, they will not understand a word because everything is encrypted. To our question of whether there are phones that are considered to be more vulnerable in this regard, for example, to what extent the iPhone-s are protected, Samvel Martirosyan replied that if no additional programs are downloaded, again there is a risk, “Even a virus was detected in the Google play a month ago.”
