There are rumors circulating on the Internet that a Diaspora Armenian boy, Kyle Khandikian, was dismissed from the “Karin” ensemble due to the sexual orientation. In the phone interview with the reporter of Aravot.am, artistic director of “Karin” ensemble, Gagik Ginosyan, said that first we do not have a Diaspora dancer in “Karin” ensemble, secondly, Kyle Khandikian has danced in one of amateur dance groups for a few months, whose head was the former student of “Karin” School.
“I was not aware of. I have come at night after the “Dolma” festival in Musaler and have heard about this case today,” – noted Mr. Ginosyan, adding that the dismissal was after when Kyle Khandikian had published his article, in which he had noted that as a homosexual he is ashamed for being Armenian as Armenians have a very bad attitude towards homosexuals. “In other words, he was asked not to attend classes just for offending the Armenian and for having such an attitude towards the Armenians world. It is the attitude of the leader of the group what kind of atmosphere he wants to see in the group, and eventually, they are only amateur groups,” – said Gagik Ginosyan.
He also mentioned that if the boy had said, I am ashamed of the Armenian president, he would be shown to his place, but when he says, I am ashamed for being Armenian, it is a much broader concept, no one says, Kyle Khandikian, why are you ashamed of being Armenian. “Do you not have topical to speak up? They have turned the country upside down, exhausted it. Is there not anything to worry about that you are talking about the dismissal of Kyle Khandikian from “Karin” group? Who needs to speculate “Karin” uselessly, let them speak of surrenders of borders, against those who destroy the country and the science, they are such orderly Armenians and caring.
There are 2-3 education centers are left where an Armenian man is educated, destroyed them also, and that’s it.
