“The possibility of resumption of hostilities increases without negotiations”, Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan stated in an interview with journalists in the parliament. Deputy Foreign Minister says Armenia should take part in platforms for preventing resumption of hostilities: “However, Armenia can never talk instead of Artsakh over issues which are in the domain of Artsakh”.
According to the Deputy Foreign Minister, democratic processes and reforms in Armenia and Artsakh will strengthen the positions of the Armenian side in the international arena. “Azerbaijan’s playing card is the sum of money coming from the air or ground, Armenia’s is in totally different field”, he said.
Today, Shavarsh Kocharyan sees no possibility of progress in the negotiations. According to him, there will be progress only when Artsakh joins the negotiation table.
