In response to the question whether what position he holds upon the fact that businessmen who avoid paying taxes are not being arrested but pay only penalties, the head of the State Revenue Committee David Ananyan said that such a punishment satisfies him: “I would not like to see all our businessmen behind the bars, because if we put all our businessmen behind bars, we will not have any businessman. Therefore, restoring the damage caused by previous activities is already a punishment”.
Referring to the Dilijan school’s embezzlements during the construction, the head of the State Revenue Committee said that certain investigative materials regarding the non-compliance with certain procedures have been submitted to the State Revenue Committee.
