“Go ask those members of parliament. Why are you asking me?” Gagik Tsarukyan said, answering a question about why no member of parliament, besides Ishkhan Zakaryan, from the Prosperous Armenia party supported the case for second President of Armenia Robert Kocharyan to be freed.
Gagik Tsarukyan organized an event for children in honor of the Day of Knowledge at his reception hall. Candidate for Yerevan mayor Naira Zohrabyan and Prosperous Armenia party candidate for City Council, television commentator Petros Ghazaryan were distributing ice cream to the children.
Reporters asked Gagik Tsarukyan if he’s ready to support Robert Kocharyan and gather his party around Kocharyan since he has entered politics. Gagik Tsarukyan replied, “That issue has not risen.”
Regarding Aravot.am’s question about whether he would support Robert Kocharyan if the people decided to, Gagik Tsarukyan said, “That issue is not on our agenda yet.”
