‘Kocharyan’s dream will stay a dream’

September 17,2018 20:34

Second President Robert Kocharyan hopes that he will have the support of a consolidation in the political field. “Yelq” parliamentarian Sasun Mikayelyan spoke to Aravot.am about this. He responded, “That is simply a dream and it will remain one.”

Regarding our observation that the RPA has not denied that they will support Kocharyan, Sasun Mikayelyan responded, “It’s natural that they won’t deny it because they’re the ones who remained, but many people left the party. They understood what happened during the years that they were in power. But there are people who can’t grasp that thought. They want something else and they can’t cope with the fact that everything will be handled by the law. Naturally, they don’t want that to happen.” According to Sasun Mikayelyan, the Republican Party and Kocharyan have no change at returning. “The people are the ones who will give them a chance, which they will never do. The people will never allow for those people to be in power again.”
