The Turkish parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee President, Volkan Bozkir, announced during his official visit to Baku that the committee will not put the Armenian-Turkish protocols on the agenda.
Regarding the Armenian-Turkish protocols, Bozkir said to Turkish media, “As long as I am President of the parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee, the Armenian-Turkish protocols are not on the committee’s agenda and they never will be.”
Bozkir also spoke about the Artsakh conflict, stating that the issue was on the agenda during meetings with Azerbaijani officials. Emphasizing that the Artsakh conflict is of utmost importance for Turkey, he repeated Turkish President Erdogan’s words, saying, “As long as the Karabakh conflict is not resolved, Turkey will not open the border with Armenia.”
