“I’ve known David Shahnazaryan since 1988, but his words are not credible for me. It’s painful to see that he fought against the RPA his whole life, only to find out that he was actually an RPA agent,” ‘Menk (Us)’ alliance deputy candidate Armen Arakelyan said regarding RPA candidate and former NSS head David Shahnazaryan’s announcement that Nikol Pashinyan’s government is conspiring against Artsakh, using the “government in exchange for Artsakh” tactic.
According to Arakelyan, those who accuse the authorities of selling and giving up Artsakh have cheap political propaganda goals. “I don’t have such fears. The Armenian authorities, regardless of how legitimate they are, are not suicidal to try something like that.”
Armen Arakelyan continued, “It’s painful to see that David Shahnazaryan seeks to become the most accepted face in society by taking Kocharyan’s crown for himself. Perhaps he wants to be the leader. But it doesn’t work in a positive way. He’s trying to become leader in a negative manner.”
