Demonstrations continue in Armenia. People are marching against Prime Minister of the country Serzh Sargsyan. It is the tenth day of massive rallies all over the country.
At the moment, student groups from all universities are striking. David Petrosyan, a member of the “For Science Development” initiative, reports on his Facebook page: “Polytechnic, YSU, Medical, Theatrical, ASUE, Slavonic, French universities are on strike”.
A group of students is in front of the central building of YSU. One of them cried out, whether they remember the slogan, and the students answered a free, independent student. Protesting students also call on lecturers to join them. Students are conducting a peaceful march in Yerevan streets. The students informed that the Medical University students joined them. Students are also chanting, Nikol-Nikol.
There is a tension on Baghramyan Avenue. Parents with children want to go out to the streets for a peaceful protest, the police explain that it is not possible. There is a debate between them. One of the citizens intervened: no gram of aggression.
