On 2-4 June, the Armenian capital will host Fashion Forum Yerevan 2018. The forum will be an excellent opportunity for the country’s designers to meet global fashion representatives, professionals and influencers who will share their expertise and deliver a number of masterclasses to local designers, making it the first event of its kind.
The forum will include seminars and workshops on trend forecasting, fashion photography, journalism and education. It will also offer the Armenian designers the chance to participate in individual consultancy sessions and portfolio reviews. The deadline for registration is 28 May.
Organised by the Fashion and Design Chamber of Armenia and supported by the EU-funded ‘Support to SME Development in Armenia’ (SMEDA) project, the forum will contribute to building a more sustainable, efficient and healthy fashion industry in a country which has a rich culture and creative potential, but is yet to build on and expand its fashion talent.
The EU4Business SMEDA project supports the improvement of the business and investment climate for SMEs in Armenia. It aims to strengthen the private sector, support SME coordination mechanisms, and foster links between research institutions and the private sector, as well as providing access to finance for SMEs.
