Reporters reminded Nikol Pashinyan on Aram street that the Republican Party has accused him of abusing official authority and administrative resources, and of having campaigns before the campaigns are to officially begin during working hours. According to the RPA, that is also against international rules. Nikol Pashinyan replied, “What campaigning have I conducted? Publish those international rules on your websites, and let them say what the international rules are. What is the Prime Minister supposed to do? Am I not supposed to leave my office?”
Reporters continued, saying that the march is an example of abuse of authority. They asked if the march carries and pre-election campaign elements. Nikol Pashinyan said, “When we held a march on August 17th, were we violating any rules, since the Yerevan City Council elections were coming up soon? Or when we went to Syunik, Vayots Dzor, Tavush…?”
