A delegation led by the Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sport of Armenia, Vardan Dumanyan, visited Artsakh, where the delegation was received by the Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sport of Artsakh, Lusine Gharakhanyan. Aravot Daily asked Gharakhanyan about the issues that were discussed during the meeting.
“It was a very effective meeting. We are working on two fronts. The displaced students from Artsakh are in Armenian schools, regions, and the capital, and all the educational issues that arose after the war have been solved by the RA Ministry. There is no issue that was put before the ministry that remained unsolved,” Lusine Gharakhanyan said, expressing her satisfaction about this.
Then, she added, “We held a meeting in order to discuss our future plans. Support for online education, the installment of nature laboratories, government subsidiaries, and other issues were also on the agenda.” The minister also explained that, in addition to other people, the minister’s deputies in the sport and culture spheres were also present, as well as the chair of the science committee, and all the issues that accumulated were discussed.
Lusine Gharakhanyan clarified that Armenia and Artsakh are working on the same field legally and legislatively, and she confirmed that more than 12,000 children are in school after the war, and over 4,500 are receiving their education in Armenia.
